I was in Newport in late August and was on a mooring right beside Hunter's Child. It was getting to be late afternoon and I took this picture. I didn't see anybody around, but I knew it had returned from the Bermuda Race and spent the rest of the summer in Newport.

I was on an HC50 in Annapolis, 2001 I think. But I don't remember if it was Hunter's Child or a brand new one. I did talk to Steve there. And I remember that the interior was anything but cozy. I hope someday I can sail that fast on a displacement boat.
