Sailing in Chesapeake Bay last August I had the port stay pull the gunwale up about 6" when I came about it returned however notice a long crack in the plastic hull where gunwale curves into the side wall of the hull. Also large cracks have appeared over the winter in the hull from the deck moving down the side of the hull. My question is; can this 1999 140 Hunter can be fixed. I understand it is a plastic boat, not fiberglass. How strong is the plastic epoxy. Is it worth repairing? Where can I get it repaired. We love the boat.
