I need to replace the Wema holding tank sending unit on my holding tank. Does anyone know the part number or length of the sending unit. Thank you!

Instead of replacing the Wema sending unit that goes inside the tank and becomes clogged with the animal fats in waste, consider replacing the entire tank level monitor with one with senders that attach to the outside of the tank. The SCAD Scad Tank Monitors tank level monitors are top rated and reasonably priced. Available from a number of sources including Amazon.

oes anyone know the part number or length of the sending unit.
Look at the number imprinted on the top of the Sensor head.

It has the length in mm and model number and wema usa can duplicate it.
Jim...

PS: Mine works great.

Hi Peggy...thanks for the info on the Scad Monitor, but unfortunately the tank is completely encased in foam.

Hi Bill, odd, to say the least. Our 1991 has foam on the sides, but none on the top where all the hose connections are located. Unable to tell, but none on the bottom either. The foam on the sides placed to prevent the tank from moving. Should be easy to remove the foam where needed, install the sensing tape on the tank and replace.

removing that foam is indeed easy- i used an ordinary wood saw- completed in minutes- after i fitted the sender tapes- i used closed cell foam to fill these gaps again
