Hunter Passage 42; Has anyone replaced the Simpson Lawrence Anchorman Sprint 900

Mine is a 1997 P 42. The anchor windlass is dead. Lewmar told me they have nothing that can be installed the same way as the original windlass in the anchor well. Has anyone done it and what did you use?

Jim, I don't think you have a Hunter Passage 42. My windlass is mounted horizontally, not vertically. It was installed just as the windlass pieces in my picture show.

I wonder if you removed and tried the electric motor separately and also tried to turn the gearbox without motor.
You can find several related posts on this forum. Without any details it is hard to see that it’s not repairable.
