We have a Hunter 36 and we have been having trouble with our NOVA KOOL freezer for about two years. It will not get cold enough. In May the tech in Pensacola said it was low on freon but had no leak. The freezer was great for about a month after the freon was added while we were on our boat in Florida, but after we got back to Louisiana it became warmer and now the unit is hot.:evil: We checked with NOVA KOOL and they informed us that they were still making the freezer for Hunter and that due to the age of the unit and the problems associated with locating leaks, to buy a new unit might be the best solution. NOVA KOOL informed us that they would not sell the unit to us directly. When we contacted Hunter about getting a replacement unit, Hunter said they would no longer sell us any parts and we would need to acquire any parts we need from Hunter Owners.com. The NOVA KOOL freezer is not listed on this site:evil:. Does anyone have any comments concerning this. In the mean time we have ordered a NOVA KOOL freezer from a local dealer.

Dave at the HunterOwners.com website can set you up. I just ordered something that you don't see on their site. It got here two days later. WOW that is great service and I had the smile.

Sorry for the scare about the item not being on the site. We're in the middle of getting all this set up and it's a big task. There are many replacements not listed on the site yet but if you call us or use the customer service form we can track things down pretty quickly. I believe there's a note to that effect on the home page of the store.

One thing I do want to emphasize is that no replacements parts will be lost. Anything that was available before will be available now. And they will gradually come up on the site to make ordering easier. We'll be be making a more formal, organized announcement about this soon.
