Hunter Legend 37 - Deck core

I know the deck is cored with balsa, but can anyone confirm for me if the core extends into:

1) Cockpit (seats, combing, floor, etc)

2) Coach roof (sides around the windows, and above the companion way)

I understand around the mast is likely cored, but curious the extent of the non-flat areas.

I can give you some info on this.

I think the cockpit is solid fiberglass with no core.

Coach roof is certainly cored. I removed the 'windows' and rebedded them a few years ago. However I didn't find balsa. Mine had little mish mash pieces of plywood. Maybe the plywood was made with balsa. Same goes up around the companionway. Not positive about closer to mast but would think it would continue there.

If you have access to the underside of panels, you can easily see cored sections, as they are thicker than the surrounding un-cored areas, so they are outlined by a visible ridge.

Hunter 38 year 2005 deck just in front and to the side of the coachroof winches cored, around 35mm
