Hunter customer service

I am outraged.
What happened to the Customer Service at Hunter ?
Today I called Hunter at their 800 number to request some parts and to ask some technical questions and I was directed to their web page.
Nobody would answer any question nor help me finding the right part I need.
They told me to drop a message at their web page and that the request would be answered in the order it was received.
No one to discuss with a technical question other than e-mail......

If this is the way how someone who spent quite a big amount of money buying a boat is treated ...... I don't foresee a good future to the company..

Welcome Sergio,

The economy hasn't been so good for the past couple of years, I'm sure you're aware of that. Like many other marine manufacturers, Hunter's staff is not as large as it used to be and they may not be able to answer your question by telephone. This is simply the reality of the marine industry these days.

But you've got plenty of options. You can wait a few days to get your answer from Hunter. You can try to get help from your dealer. You can try to get help from this forum. (That's really the purpose of the forum, it's not meant to be a place to torpedo a manufacturer because you're frustrated.)

These days, that's more than most manufacturers can offer. So why not post the questions you have and let's see if anyone can help.

No offense, but do you have any idea how many calls they probably have to return when they get in on a Monday? (after a busy summer weekend of customers out using their boats)
Be a little patient and if you need an answer asap maybe your dealer can help.

I have always had good reponse from Hunter and even when just asked for help or info,they usually have a answer machine that will tell you to leave your # and they will call back and they do call back.

I've had great luck using email. Their tech. people have always responded within an hour or 2.

I am still getting prompt email replies from customer service at Hunter. Have had good response from both Ronnie Barnes (parts) and Eddie Breeden (cust service)

Had nothing hut prompt response from both Mike thomas and Ronnie Barnes. Be patient and polite and they will respond quicklyand in kind. Ronnie even looked up the fuel tank drawings on a 1996 hunter 376 for me. Above normal service is all I've had
