Here's where the fun starts!
These are boats, not old cars. They were built in tiny quantities compared to the smallest production runs of cars now considered rare. Hunter has burnt, discarded the drawings for the old stuff. Lack of space? Embasassment? Who knows. The fun starts with coming up with replacements.Ladder? Get some mahogany or teak if you have lots of cash to throw into it, take a pattern from a friends same or similar boat and make your own, or as one of our regulars might advise, have it made by a professional.Stove? What was there is now considered junk. (Notice I didn't say crap?) Get an Origo non-pressure alcohol, devise a method to mount it that you're comfortable with. (I like mine.)Cabin Cushions? What on earth would make you want duplicates of the originals? Orange and black or avacado and puce horse blanket coverings over soft foam? There are lots of guys out there who can make up upholstered cushions for you to your specs out of any grade of foam and covering material, or, learn to do it yourself!Go crazy, have a good time with it. That's why we have these things.
