Hi, I just bought a Hunter 33, who is located in Miami. I realized already that I need a bimini, but no idea the size or wheare a van get one decente shadow...any sugestion, I will appreciate...Godfrey
Ameriseam in Tampa Bay does a great job. 1.800.755.7221. They have made two biminis for us (Hunter 340, Hunter 30T), including the structure and we have been very satisfied. They have also made one sail cover. If they can ship all that to South Dakota, they will have no problem satisfying you in Miami.Give them your boat size and year made and they can go from there.I think you will be very satisfied.
When you see how some are made and you really want some shade and protection from rain, check the size needed for it to attach to the outside of the toe rails. SS bows for stability and Sunbrella for lasting quality and a size to allow you to fully turn your winch handles which means attaching to the toe rails not the decking. I think you will realize tremendous benefits. Also you would want a window just behind the split backstay to see up the mast. It too can be covered by a flap. Happy bimining. Steve K.
