What started out to be lipstick on a pig turned into a complete makeover. The Hunter 54 is ready to go and looking for a new owner. You've already seen the new interior, now for the exterior.

We pulled the house and side deck skins and re-cored, followed by two layers of fresh glass.

Of course, we couldn't leave it at that and had to freshen everything up, including painting the house and varnish.

We added some non-skid to the swim step for safety.

We also built a new floor for the dinghy garage to replace the one the DEA cut out. It's waiting for paint.

We couldn't just stop there so we did some body work and painted the hull.

So, here we have her ready to go fast cruising for a measly 75K.

Charlie, That is the best answer I have seen for the nay sayers about rebuilding fiberglass boats and you can never get your money back. That boat is better than brand new from Hunter.
