Im trying to buy a new Duramax Cutlass bearing for my Hunter 49 that is still in the Water, so I cant measure it.
I can measure the shaft of course for ID and thought that would be enough, but it seems the same ID can have different OD's
So I need to know the OD of the cutlass (or ID if the skeg) before pulling the boat out.

I did this a few years ago
Mine was 2-3/8 OD
You must have access to a Strut Pro bearing puller. There is no other safe way (no damage) to pull this.
Most reputable mobile mechanics will have one.
It’s a little tough getting this bearing out. We needed a bit of heat (heat gun) along with the tool.
When you press in the new bearing, coat it with silicone grease to help shove it in.
No hammers!!!
If you have a variprop, you’ll need to borrow the removal tool to get it off

Thanks much appreciated, I was about to take a punt with 2"
Was it a Duramax in there ?
Did you replace with a Duramax the Naval Brass version ?
Do you happen to remember where you bought it or a part number by chance.?

I have fixed prop and yea I will be having this done inf Fiji so I will be standing there making sure.
Thanks

And the length…all 3 are important.
