I'm getting close to making a decision on purchasing a new H-460. Just wondered if any 460 owners had any comments on the boat, the options, and what they'd do differently if they had a chance to do it over again. Thanks.

Modifications to the Hunter 460
We purchased hull 113 and love the boat. We modified the aft stateroom to a central double bed, put in a hanging closet and filled in the remaining space with the washer/dryier and finished storage lockers. The only other major suggestioins I would make is to get a folding prop. and insert a gas canister into the rigged boom vang. I have the full roach sail plan not the ruller furling main. I hope this helps. I would buy the boat again.

Hunter 460? BUY IT !!!!!
I have owned three new Hunters. The 460 is clearly the best buy for the money. I looked hard at other boats. At the end of the day, the Hunter 460 proved to be the winner. Offshore or on the Bay, in light or heavy conditions, the 460 has proven to be comfortable and competitive. Hunter has always "Gone the Distance" with support and service, an art seemingly lost with other companies.

We LOVE ours!
We've had ours since July last year and we couldn't be happier. It's a great boat and it does everything we want it to do. We looked at Catalina and Beneteau and the 460 gave us more and in our estimation a better layout. Our dealer has been great for warranty issues as has Hunter Marine. Mark Johnson
