hunter 40, yanmar 44. replace control cables. teleflex?

i wanna repalace my control cables. the yanmar manual says to use "morse" control cables. can i use teleflex? same company right? whats the difference in cables, the ends? can i just measure the old ones, and buy the same length in teleflex?

Teleflex cables

I've used Teleflex brand shift and throttle cables on our boats and they work just fine with no match-up problems. Length is the most critical issue and to help obtain the right one, take the old one with you when you go shopping.

I have never repalaced anything, but if you want to replace your cables you can use Teleflex because they purchased Morse and Morse is now Teleflex.
