Has anyone experienced cracking around the welds of this unstayed mast. There is a crack which appears to be just above the first weld (about 7' off the deck). Please reply to: oceanbaymarine@cs.com
Never heard of a crack in a Vision mast. Have owned a 36 Vision myself for 5 years, and sailed up the coast of California from San Diego to San Francisco. I seem to recall reading somewhere that this can happen if you hole the mast by drilling, etc. Did someone try to attach a radar?
