So how does one remove the lens in either of the head overhead lights to change the bulb? There must be a trick. Appreciate any help.

The round plastic ones snap out. Kinda like opening a kid proof bottle, squeeze the edges (at the right spot) and it comes right off.

Round ones

The small round ones like mentioned pop off by kind of pulling at one side of them and the little plastis tabs locking them in,putting them back on I find to be hard to get them just right locking in as you are pushing on them so just pull at one side and they pop off.

Let's get this straight - do you pull on the edge of the clear part of the lens, or on the edge of the white plastic bezel surrounding the lens?

Thanks for the post - finesse was getting me nowhere, but I happily resisted using force...

Not Sure

I am not sure we are talking about the same lights,I was refering to the smaller lighys that use the G-4 holagen like in the vee berth.
I also have 2 different lights in the head which I have no clue how to take apart and tried yesterday,it has the clear lens and was trying to turn the lens which did seem to turn but no luck taking it off so I can see what type bulb to try and change to leds.
My 2007 H-36 may have different lights.

I changed the bulb in our fixture over the saloon table last season. After fooling around with it for awhile, concerned about breaking something, the surrounding bezel snapped off allowing me to remove both it and the lens. Once you see the plastic tabs, replacing it is a snap. (pun intended)

Clear ens

You need to use very pointed knife in the edge of the round clear part wwhere the bulb is and poping in is also very hard but take your time aand pushing easy in,I just replaced the bulbs with leds and they work great
:dance::dance:Look for 912 led replacement.:dance:
