We own a 1999 Hunter 340 and have not needed to lower the salon table until now. Can someone provide instructions on how to do it correctly? I checked our Owner's Manual and I cannot find anything referring to this. I need this imformation urgently because I have grandchildren coming on board for the first time this week. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide

Under the front of the table is a T handle that you loosen to raise or lower or rotate the table around the compression post.
If that T is loose and the table won't move, do you see a 1/4 inch diameter cord running from the table up to a block in the compression post. Try pulling that to move a heavy counterweight inside the compression post. Let us know if you still have a problem.
