Hunter 340 Bottom Painting

Hey all you happy 340 owners,

Spring is almost here in the Northeast and the ugly job must be done.

This will be my first time applying bottom paint to my 340.

I plan on using 2 coats of Pettit Hydrocoat Antifouling Bottom Paint.

My question is coverage. How many gallons will it take for one coat.

My guess is one gallon.

We went from blue to black last year and it took 1 gallon + 1 quart

Yep! My 200 340 take about one gallon plus one quart. Its all that beaver tail keel, engine runing gear and big rudder that soaks it up.
