if you have any more of the "hood" photos as i'm installing semi-flexible solar on top of this and '
Am in the process of hiding the wires.... already made it from the headliner to the battery compartment but the last 10" through this area to the top is a challenge... more pics would help me out greatly.... especially of the arms that run aft flanking hatch and the cabin roof areas that they sit in...

Not sure I understand the concept: I walk on this area all the time when reefing and securing the sail to the boom. Any solar here would get trashed underfoot

My pics won't show anymore detail but if you're going through the deck into the space under the liner I'd recommend using a gland fitting to seal the cable. Without the my boat at hand, I'd be tempted to run the cable
along the under-hood channel for the lines, and put a the gland in an accessible spot behind the coaming, into the
liner space occupied by the winch and rope-clutch fittings (?)
