Hunter 34 -Opinions, anyone?????

Hi! Most of you are much more experienced Hunter owners and I have some q's as to the suitablity of an '83 model H-34 for extended cruising. What is your opinions on my plan of sailing to Central America, livining aboard for a time, then off to the Carib? Is this a boat well suited to this sort of endeavor? Any inherent problems?Thanks for your help

Terrific boat...

...and a great idea. Might need some upgrades, but sure it's a great boat. I'd love to do the same. Need the time to do it.
