Hi;
Does anyone have a pic they can post showing the jib tack attachment to the furling drum (North Sail furler - generic will do) I'm doing something wrong!

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for pics. What is that heart shaped metal ring partly hidden on the fore end of the drum for? What does it attach to?

My clew seems to attach to a short wire pennant or should it attach with a shackle directly as yours does? If so, what is the wire pennant for?
Thanks. Ilan

The heart shaped metal ring is a guide used when threading the sail into the slot in the foil. Once the sail is on it just hangs there.

Yup.. "Sail Feeder" .. makes it much easier to get the sail into the foil groove.
EDIT: Wire might be for a storm sail or other shorter luff sail?

Awesome! I would never have figured out its use.
I now believe that the wire is a pendant for the sail and that I am just missing it's shackle as I can't hoist the jib to the top of the forestay. Thanks again. Ilan
