Hunter 335 2009 - how does she sail

How does she sail in good wind with a small jib. Is she sluggish or pretty quick. Our 285 had a massive jib and sometimes we sailed just with that, but understand with this boat that's not doable.

Would also like to know overall performance - good and bad - of this boat.

Doing a sea trail Friday, and before we made the final offer want to know more about her.

With the jib only I'd say she's reasonable. I will use the jib only when we have a boat load of guests and the wind is strong and/or gusting. I can still get a decent sail.

With both sails out, I can get 6-7 knots fairly easy with 12-15 knots of wind. At 15 she starts to get overpowered. I typically sail towing a RIB and outboard, tanks full and lots of food, ice, beer etc on board. We anchor out each weekend so head out fully loaded.

It's quick and responsive. I single hand the helm, sheets, etc. while my wife enjoys the ride.
