I have a 2005 Hunter that will be splashed soon for the season. There is a little bit of slop in the rudder, which you can hear/feel bang around a little while in bigger waves. What is normal play in the rudder? Is there anything I should do to adjust, especially before launching?

I had a Hunter 29.5 a few years back. Well upon inspection I sawthat the previous owner Jerry rigged that slack truthfully I forget how. I just took the cables and took out the slack. I discovered a hairline crack in the pulley which quicken the decision to tackle it. That was on a 1995..
