Hunter 33 Fuel/Water Separator

Hunter 33, 2006, 3YM30. I searched the archives quickly but could not find an exact answer. I would like to change out my primary fuel filter (Racor R12P) to a unit that has the clear bowl for water separation similar to the Racor 120R-RAC-01 type.
Has anyone done this? which model filter/separator? size of the line from the tank so I can pick the correct size barb? size of the line to the engine? any helpful hints?

I had swap out my metal bowl for a clear bowl for my R12P filter (120RMAM), I believe the p/n is RK10215 Clear Bowl Kit.
There is no need to change the filter R12P and head to other make/model.
There might be a requirement for US boats to NOT use plastic bowl.

Thanks for the information about the unit that uses the same filter body. I see the 120 AS online which looks like it uses the same filter like you said. I will have to look into the use of a plastic bowl in the US.
It looks like they sell them all over so I would believe that they can be used here but I will check.

Plastic bowl located in the engine room for diesel fuel: Canada "Yes", USA "No".

Yep, I found that. Guess I will stick to the filter assembly I have!
