Can anyone tell me what roller furling was installed on a 1993 Hunter 33.5? Do you know of any documentation or can you tell me how the furler attaches in the anchor well of this boat? There are two rods in the anchor well that the furler can/should be attached to but my boatyard mechanic can't remember how it was attached after a mast lift. Any information you can send would be greatly appreciated

I think you'll do better by supplying any identifying any labels on the main and/or jib furler. A '93 33.5 may have had more than one type of furler. No labels ? Send a few pics and members here can send you the printed manual on that furler. I'm going to guess it's a Selden. Now we need the model of furler.

My 1993 33.5 has a harken. I found this very old video on how to tighten it as I just did this 2 days ago. Perhaps this will help.

This is because, unlike automobiles, boat manufactures use a variety of parts sourced from several major manufacturers. While the parts work similar they are not all the same. Then there is the PO (Previous Owner) who improves his/her boat with better quality or available parts to meet the need.
Pictures are always helpful for the members here to help you. If not a picture then a lable, serial number, model number of the part will help you get the info you request.
