Hunter 33.5 Delamination

My 1993 33.5 has a delamination problem midships on the starboard side between the toe rail and the saloon. Does anyone have a drawing showing the thicknesses of the deck laminates. I do not want to drill right through the deck.

If you're drilling down from the top of the deck just go slowly and carefully. As soon as you go through the top section of fiberglass you'll start getting wood shavings out of the drill hole. I believe your deck is cored with Baltek so the drill bit will go through it easily. Go slowly and don't put weight on the drill as you go through the coring. As soon as you feel the bit hit the hard surface of the fiberglass on the other side coring, stop.

Rough guess....1/4 inch laminate followed by 1/2inch core followed by 1/4 inch inner laminate.
