Hunter 310

I' will like to know if there is any problem with this specific model becouse it went out of the market last year.I have a company offering a 2000 Hunter 310 at a very good price coul some one please give an idea what is good and what is bad about this boat

Our second boat was a 310 and we loved it. The only reason we traded up last year to a 380 was because we have 3 kids and spend 3 out of 4 weekends a year on the boat....just needed more space.This is a great cruising boat. We raced it a couple of times (doesn't point up the best, but fun the less).

I have 1999 H310 and just love it and have very little negitive issues with the boat.Huter, for the most part changes its boat model every 3-5 years.If you look closely at the H320, you will see that aside from some small chages, it is the same boat as the 310.Just look at the spec's here on HOW.I have posted much about this boat on this web site. Hunter change/update models..

.. very often , even compared to other major mass production brands. In the past -and still for some up-scale small companies- models were changed if and when they weren't selling well anymore.or a 'face lift' needed.These days is has more to do with marketing issues, other brands 'new releases', and less with their being succesfull and well designed -or not-..much like cars..On the negative side ,there is probably not that much effort and attention to details at design stage , since it is expected in advance that the production run will last few years only ,and whatever problems will be discovered can be dealt with in next model..Also , market price go down more when production ceased..

Like the 310

I like you bought a 1997 310 new in 1999, I've been well pleased with theboat and its traits. Any complaints have been minor---I have developed a badcase of blisters. Have not had them repaired as of yet but the response from Hunter and the dealer has been great.
