Hunter 310 (windlass)

If you owned a hunter 310, can you tell me what kind of windlass is installed in your boat, and if you had to make modification to the anchor locker.

I've a Simpson Lawrence windlass on my 326 (same hull design as 320). Don't know if its same as the 310.

What kind of windlass do you have ?, A picture of your windlass in your anchor locker gonna be like 100 box for me. I returned a quick antares 1500 today. Room for the motor ok, but not enough drop for the chain...

Thanks for the pics Ken, now i know what type of windlass to look for. Thanks again. Do you any problem whith your chain since it is travelling a few inches horizontally before going into the anchor locker ?

I find the depth of locker is shallowed by the rodes and chain piling on top. hence has to help flak the chain forward as I recover otherwise the chain will jam after a short wihile of retrieving. not a difficult task anyway.

Thx again for your help Ken. I check with my dealer, and the windlass i need (same like yours) is discontinued, since Lewmar bought Simpson Lawrence they dont make sprint 600 anymore. This windlass was designed for hunter only (Chain exit in the front, and i cant find a simillat model). I need to reconfigure the anchor locher. Thx again for your help and the pictures.
