Hunter 310 1999

[Necessity]

Hello All,
Tired of wireless speakers and was interested in installing a stereo with 2 speakers aft galley 2 in cockpit. Can anyone recommend the best configuration. I ordered a few different sizes for the arch speaker holes but none of them fit.

Suggest getting measurements of you existing speakers and do an internet search for ones that fit that size, albeit the screw holes may not line up.

Can you be a little more detailed in what you mean by "configuration" ? Wiring, positioning ......... ? ? ?

As far as fitting speakers to the arch, I think @sail sfbay has the best plan for finding the right size.

I installed these Get 2021's Best Deal On Poly-Planar MA8505W Marine Speakers | Rock The Boat Audio a few years ago. They fit the hole perfectly and depth was good. Sound is not audiophile but respectable for outdoors.

Another H310 here. Dunno if I would want speakers on the arch as everyone seems to gravitate toward using them as a backrest. My speakers are on the sides of the pedestal, down, out of the way. Wiring is straightforward in that location also.
