Hunter 31--water tank fill?

I recently bought a Hunter 31. I'm thoroughly enjoying it -- in fact, I'm living on it.

One teeensy little problem, though -- I can't find the fill for the water tank! I know the diesel is at the starboard stern. The pumpout is on the starboard near the bow. But I can't find anywhere to fill the water tank ... and I'm out of water.

Can someone please tell me where it is? I'm having difficulty reaching the previous owner.

The water fill should be located under the boarding step to the stern ladder. The water tank is molded into the hull liner under the aft quarter berth.

Alternative location...

If you don't find the fill under the stern rail step plate, look in the aft lazerette as the early H34's had the originally put there by the factory and the H31 is basically of the same design.
