Hunter 31 Hull Composition

Interested if there is any location on a 1984 Hunter 31 where the hull is solid, allowing installation of an in-hull transducer for depth sounding.

Solid below the water line.

Bruce: The hull is solid below the water line. You can place the transducer any place that there is no liner. The best place is under the Vberth. To test the transducer, get a wax ring for a toilet. Place the transducer in the wax to test it. Some sailors do this as a permanent installtion too.
