Wasn't there a Tall rig, a 30T, in the years 1988-199x? Maybe the 'G' was to differentiate the two.

I think:

88-90 - G
91-93 - T

Don't know why G or T. 91-93 has a higher roof on the cabin and nicer interior wood finishes.

Sailgunner is right, the 88-90 were referred to with the G designation, the most important difference is the shape of the forward cabin. The G slopes down, the T is squared off giving more head room in the forward cabin. There are some other small distinctions, such as round sinks vs. square, rail seats, etc. etc. Must be a big trailer, this boat weighs over 5 tons and has an 11' beam.

That's a serious trailer sailor. Lets see a pic of that rig. Sounds like a bad case of "my trailer boat's bigger than yours":).There was a Beneteau 311 with a swing keel on a trailer in Colorado last year. Stepping the mast would certainly be one of many Texas sized challenges.
