I need advice on replacement of the wind wire from the mast head (truck) down through the outlet at the foot of the compression post. The old wire is held fast probably by a junction box near the joint of the post and the mast heel. Before I blow the money to strike (unstep?) the mast I need to know the location of the junction box and how to proceed for a clean job.....and thanks to DONALEX for some helpful general info. Does anyone know the location of the box on the 1989 Hunter 30 and any tips on doing the job without wrecking the electric wires and reinstalling the mast to post?
