Anyone successfully removed the companion-way steps from their 30T? It looks like whatever was holding them down onto the top of the engine box has rusted away (see pics - one from beneath, one from top). I would like to put a stainless washer underneath the two tubing rails but can't see how to get them off.

Any chance you have a couple of shots from a little further back ? ? ? ? I'm having a tough time picturing the construction because I'm from the '99 era.
