Hunter 30 "G" 1987 TRAVELER replacement???

Dear Sailing Friends,

I want to replace my 1989 Hunter 30 "G" traveler.

I would like your recommendations as to how to quickly and efficiently go about this acquisition and installation.

My old traveler is a Shaffer and there are three bolts on the port and starboard ends that will need to match my existing bolt holes exactly.

I solicit you suggestions and advice, please

I would recommend looking at the Garhauer Marine units. They are reasonably priced, 10 year warranty and they can custom drill your track.

Agree with Steve, Garhauer does nice work. I replaced the traveler on my Pearson 30 a few years back with their setup and they custom drilled the assembly to fit the existing holes etc. I just got a rigid vang from them for my 280.

Lewmar and Harken tracks can come with adjustable fastener bolts, they basically slide along the bottom so can be positioned anywhere, give me a call if you'd like to discuss it.

Agree with Steve and Tata I have used Garhauer for genoa fair lead cars. I ordered the wrong size car and before they even received the old (wrong size car I errantly ordered) ones I had the new proper cars in my hands. Outstanding customer service, well built and fairly priced.!
