Nah, watch the telly for 15 minutes - the guy with the gravel voice will tell you that the sheep truck will tow anything and get better mileage than a Yugo doing it. Trouble is, from a pure cost/benefit perspective, you could get a pretty nice boat for the cost of the truck needed to pull the boat.

Just some Guy; That is a proper trailer and with a long wheeled dolly with long extension is how I did it. I also owned a hydraulic trailer and used a four by four dooly with the 7.3 or was it 7.6 diesel engine and that folks is how I did it but you have to know the ramps because only the long ones will work if trailer launching and retrieving. I also launched with a crane over bulkhead and bridges due to the many lakes without the ramps or travel lifts that were not there.

All this is thru experience and safety.
