Hunter 29.5 Propane Tank

I want to add a spare propane tank to my 1994 Hunter 29.5 but have been unable to find one with the same dimensions as that which came with the boat. Any ideas??

Six-gallon tanks

I replaced the original propane tank in my'96 29.5 with two 6-gallon tanks that I purchased at Camping word. They just do fit without touching the locker cover when it is closed. Along with the tanks I installed the 2-tank regulator from West Marine. One outlet hose goes to the original solenoid for the galley and the other goes through a manual shut-off valve to a ten-foot hose for the rail-mounted bar-b-que. When not in use, I keep the ten-foot hose coiled up in the locker. It all works very well.Phillip CokerSilent Dancer
