We owned a 1989 H28 for three years. Nice boat, fun to sail and comfortable for two. Ten days was the most we stayed out on her, but did many weekenders and overnighters.. Upgraded to our current boat as we wanted to stay out for extended periods. No issues come to mind.

I purchased a 96 hunter 280 late last year.

The money I spent on the survey was some of the best money I have ever spent. I know opinions go both ways, but I cast my vote for it.

It really helped me create a list of repairs. Categorize them, safety, seaworthy, general and amenities and then prioritize them.
