Question for those Hunter 28 sailors, do you sail with the main in the track on the boom, or loose footed?

I always kept the foot in the track. I doubt it will make any difference in boat performance either way. Others will disagree.

I used to have a main with the foot on the boom track. I replaced it with loose foot. It makes a difference in sail shape and performance.
