Hunter 28 quarter-berth fixed port

Has anyone replaced the quarterberth fixed port on a Hunter 28? I need to reseal it but cannot get the plastic trim on the inside off without breaking it.

for the response, the port I need to fix is a fixed port in the hull, picture attached, there is a plastic trim ring inside the hull that has resisted being removed, don’t want to break it trying to pry it off. Has anyone done this?
