Be aware that the double spreader B&R rig on a 28.5 typically has about 4"-5" of pre-bend so the mainsail is cut for this luff curve; other boats this size may have 'straight' masts and a sail cut for a straight mast would have less draft if used on the pre-bend of a 28.5 mast. Make sure you can return the used sail if it does not fit the boat.
