Hunter 28.5 Fixture aft of jib/genoa winch?

There are two screws that are seated on top of what appears to be a small teak base about 1.5' aft of my headsail winches on the combing of the cockpit of my 1986 Hunter 28.5. It is a mystery to me what type of fixture may have been mounted on these bases. Cheek block for jib/genoa? Beverage holders? Jib/Genoa block?

I've looked for photos of the 28.5 and I just can't find one that depicts that part of the cock pit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Photo(s) would be helpful. Is it (or are they) are on both sides of the cockpit and are there holes in them for mounting hardware. My first inclination s a turning block for a spinnaker or large geneoa.

Sounds like we have a contest called "name that thing". Once we see a photo the answer should be obvious.

I had a Hunter 28.5 back in the late 80's/early 90's (great boat!) and I'm thinking those are probably cam cleat mounts for the jib sheets.

BobH57, Thanks, that thought did cross my mind. When the weather clears later this week, I'll grab some pictures and post them. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Here are the images I promised as we investigate the mysterious fixtures that reside behind my jib winches on either side of my 1986 Hunter 28.5. Sorry it took so long. Let the guessing continue...
