Hello,

I have a Hunter 27 2005 without a traveller.
I want to install a traveller, is there someone who have a traveller and would give me some details about is (which brand of blocks and traveller) or mail me some photos

Thanks

Have you checked the ships store?

if you go to Harken .com they have a guide that will help you select the parts and show you the varieties of configurations for travellers. On my H27 we do not have a traveller and I do not miss it. I have had to make adjustments but I do not feel that I will gain that much by adding a traveller.

Is your boat the type with the mainsheet just forward of the helm and in the cockpit? And wasn't the traveler an option? Then maybe you could get a deal from Hunter. I like the traveler idea for fine tuning.

Garhauer is another excellent source for a traveler.

A very wise choice. A traveler (IMHO) is a necessity not an option. Without a traveler you cannot achieve proper sail trim and control in high wind speeds is a must.

Thanks for your repleys.
I have a Hunter/Legend 27 build 2005.
The space reservation for the traveller is located in the middle of the cockpit in front of the steering wheel.

If i use Harken parts for a traveller and mainsheet it cost me more then 1000 euros
So i if anyone has a better (cheaper) idea.....

Garhauer is an excellent choice for your traveler. It is a well made quality product at a down to earth price. Their customer service is excellent also.

Their MT-1 double T track will cost you 255 euros, about a 1/4 of the Harken.
