Hunter 27 Spinnaker

Anyone have experience with Hunter Late Model 27 spinnaker (assym.)? Did you have to install a bowsprite???

No. I but a block on the bow can't remember exact location. Ran a line from the tack to the port bow cleat. Used the ATN Tacker to move the sail foward of the head stay.

The new 27x comes with a retractable sprit. It is a distinct advantage to fly the chute off a sprit. I added a sprit to my boat for that very reason.

Poor man's bowsprit

Here’s an easy-to-make bowsprit, seats in the anchor locker.
This will throw the spin ahead of the main, less blanketing.
Tack line and 2 sheets permanently deployed for quick setup.

Typo correction: Eyelet should be 3/8 inch.
