Can somebody tell me if there is there any maintenance required on the rudder post of my boat? Lubrication? It has an Edson wheel steering mechanism. Thanks
Packing lasts longer than drive shaft, but should be checked (at least this is the case on my 37C) Make sure it doesn't have too much play. This could be bad bearings or something. They are built pretty well, and they don't take a lot of abuse
