Hunter 27 Renault Alternator

Help! I just bought a Hunter 27 with alternator problems. I think replacing it may cure my woes. Engine is an Renault RC8D 8HP. Anyone out there that can help with troubleshooting and/or a spare alternator. Thanks, Dean Morris e-mail@dflywright@excite.com

let me know I have a Renault I took out of my sailboat last spring. The transmission is shot but the motor was running before it was taken out. Make me an offer.
