Well I finaly finished working on the new radio pod. For all the 2005+ hunter 27 owners, you know how useful the storage area and radio pod is... So I built this. The bottom is 3" deep and will hold all my charts and log books. There is 5" of open space above that so you can lift/remove the table to get to the charts. Above that is a 6" shelf with a lexan door so you can see in but not have stuff fall out as you heel over. The radio pod holds both radio's, and now has a battery meter. I know it is not the best meter, but hey it gives you an idea of what you have left. The body is plywood with teak facings. I will post a picture of it installed as soon as I get down to the boat again.
