Hunter 260 - where can I find the HIN

Hello all,

I've tried searching this and other forums and I read everywhere that the Hull Id Nmbr should be in the transom, starboard side, etc....I have a Hunter 260 from 2003 and I do have the title so I know the HIN, but where can I find it in the boat? I'm expecting like a little plaque with the same number as the title....and can;t find it anywhere :-(

Outside starboard transom is where they all usually are.....closer to the deck

It's not an attached plaque. The HIN is discreetly embossed into the hull. Where RAD says.

In your case it won't be on the transom, it will be near the stern on the Starboard side, about the same level as the rail.

Well, since no other 260 owner has chimed in with an authoritative post, you could always call a Hunter dealer for the location.

You will find the HIN just forward of the forward stanchion of the pushpit on the starboard side. If you have the hunter 260 decal it is above and aft of the "H" Around the turn in the rubrail. (it is a bit hard to locate as it is just a depression in the gelcoat.)

I am still unable to find it but at this point I wonder if there issomething fishy about it
I am heading to the dmv for inspection tomorrow.the title I have has a clean number but I can't match it with the boat...i hope everything is ok.
