Hunter 260 stanchions...Help

Well I just bought a nice 2000 hunter 260 and when it was delivered it had bent stanchions. I need 4 new stanchions and hunter owners parts doesn't have them. Any ideas on this very custom (standard ones won't work) stanchion?

Take them off, take them to a machine shop and have them straightened. Another alternative is to get some off the shelf units and have them modified to match the rest. Finding an original set will be rather difficult.

Tim is a good person who knows sailboats and he at one time even represented my company with Hunters at All Seasons.

Knighthawlk, if you need any help with information, contact me at davecondon@mindspring.com. When Tidewater was the Hunter dealer, often they referred many with the smaller boats with questions to me as they were a big boat dealer. I was the one who often brought the trailerable Hunters to the Annapolis Show and even introduced the 260. Not many in the Annapolis area really knew that boat.
