From time to time, I use a pumpout where the attendant does not have the pumpout adapter to fit my boat. As a result I tried to order one from WestMarine but it did not fit. SeaLand makes a 1.25 inch adapter but it is 16 threads per inch; I think the Hunter 260 is 1.25/11.5 threads per inch. I know these adapters exist since almost all the pumpouts I use have the correct adapter. I guess I could make an adapter for the adapter so it would fit, but I really would like to find the size that works. Any help is appreciated.

SeaLand makes a "universal" fitting

It's a tapered neoprene "cone" that has to be jammed into the deck fitting and held there till the tank is empty. Google "SeaLand pumpout fittings" to find retailers who have it. One or more of 'em may also have the threaded 11 TPI threaded fitting that you need.

sea dog makes a series of deck fills and caps in 1.25 pipe thread (looks like the 11.5) which fit our 2002 356 fills. you can get them at boaters world or www.sea-dog.com
