Hunter 260
Mast Light Wiring Connector?
My mast light connector broke off, as I did not disconnect before I lower the mast.
What I have is a 3 pin connector, with two smaller pins on the top (left one and right one) and a larger pin centered on the bottom.
I have 3 wires to connect, a solid Red wire (typically Positive), a Green & Yellow stripped wire (typically Ground) and a solid Blue wire (not typical but I suspect Negative?)
I want to reconnect the wires to the correct pins.
Which color wires should be connected to which pin locations?
One DC wire suggestion on this Internet website was:
http://mediarealm.com.au/articles/2013/04/xlr-wiring-standard-3-pin-5-pin/
Top Left pin would be Ground, or Green & Yellow stripped wire.
Top Right pin would be Positive, or solid Red wire
Lower Lager pin would be Negative, or solid Blue wire
Is this DC wiring correct, or what is correct for my Hunter 260 Mast?
The AC 115V home wire system on the Internet website is:
Top Left Longer Slot would be Neutral, or White (solid Blue in my case) wire.
Top Left Shorter Slot would be Hot, or Black (solid Red in my case) wire
Lower Larger pin would be Ground, or Green ( Green & Yellow stripped in my case wire
Is this AC wiring correct, or what is correct for my Hunter 260 Mast?
Thank you in advance for all your help.
Regards, Mike
